In todays fly tying tutorial German Fly Tier Oliver Oelze is tying a really nice shrimp.

Lavender Shrimp
Hook: Ahrex NS 156 # 6
Thread: Frödin SSS Thread 12/0 Hot Orange.
Tail: Senyo´s Laser Dub Fluo Hot Orange, Mallard, Badger, Whiting Spey Feather Lavender,Flashabou.
Body: Slf / Ice Dub, Easy shrimp eyes fluo hot orange, Whiting Spey Feather.
Wing: Whiting Spey Feather
Head: Varnish

Lavender shrimp is a typical shrimp fly, the color and the open back makes it very lively in the water.
Perfect in spring and the colder months of the year. The spey feather on the head lies in the water like a
shell back on the fly, but plays more than solid backs.
